Zusammenfassung: | A nozzle assembly comprises convergent and divergent pivotal flaps enabling variation of the section characterstics of the nozzle, the convergent flaps 1 being controlled by an actuator device (V2, not shown), with a linkage rod 23 interposed between each of the divergent flaps 2 and a pin 24 supported by the fixed part of the nozzle which determines the orientation of the divergent flaps 2 for each position of the convergent flaps 1. The pins 24 pivot the linkage rods 23 on the fixed part of the nozzle and can be displaced within slots 101 by control means independent of other adjusting control means in order to provide for deflection of the jet by the divergent flaps 2 only. Variation of nozzle area (figs 1 and 2, not shown) and thrust reversal by deflecting jet through lateral aperture upstream of the nozzle (fig. 3, not shown) can also be effected. |
