Shaping condition deciding method, and shaping condition deciding system

Intended is to provide a shaping rate deciding method capable of deciding the shaping rate of a pressing apparatus properly and promptly. In the shaping rate deciding method for deciding the shaping rate of the pressing apparatus, a plate material is provided with a plurality of measurement points, and is pressed at a predetermined shaping rate by the pressing apparatus. Next, the distorted states (at points Q1 - QN) at the individual measurement points thus pressed are plotted in a shaping limit diagram containing a shaping limit line (FL) of the plate material, thereby to form a distortion distribution diagram. Of the points (Q1 -QN) plotted in the distortion distribution diagram, the point the closest to the shaping limit line (FL) is adopted as a specific measurement point. The shaping rate of the pressing apparatus is made lower than the predetermined shaping rate, in case the specific measurement point is located in an extended region ( e 2 > 0), but is made higher than the predetermined rate, in case the specific measurement point is located in a drawn region ( e 2 & 0).
