Urinal assembly

The urinal deodoriser comprises a housing 1 within which a deodorising agent supply unit 2 is disposed which is adapted to dispense predetermined amounts of a deodorising agent from a store 3 to a first pipe 21 which extends to an open-type air-freshening container 12 within which the predetermined amount of deodorising agent is held for a time before passing, during the flushing of the urinal, in to the urinal basin 50 with the flush water. The deodoriser preferably includes a replaceable absorbent element 4 disposed within the air-freshening container which may comprise a sponge material, a water absorbent cotton material or a non-woven cloth material.
