Zusammenfassung: | A method of removing multiples using SRME uses wide azimuth seismic data to directly compute a multiple prediction via a mixed space-wavenumber-frequency domain implementation. A plurality of seismic traces are selected 202, at least one of the traces including a multiply reflected event. The traces are transformed 204 into a first transform domain (e.g. using a Fourier transform). A shot record is accessed 206 comprised of a first plurality of the transformed traces, and a receiver record is accessed 208 comprised of a second plurality of the transformed traces. A 2D transformed (e.g. 2D Fourier transformed) shot slice and a 2D transformed receiver slice are calculated, wherein the shot slice and the receiver slice correspond to the same selected coefficient (e.g. Fourier coefficient) of the first transform. The 2D transformed slices are used to obtain an estimate of the multiply reflected event. |
