Zusammenfassung:	A differential assembly 10 is disclosed that includes first and second case portions 13 and 14 that are secured together, the first case portion 13 and the second case portion 14 in combination enclose a cavity and are supported for rotation about a first axis 15, spider pins 26, 28, 30 and 32 are located within the cavity and support bevel pinions 22 to 25, a ring gear 20 is secured to the first case portion 13 and is located radially outboard of the spider pins 26, 28, 30 and 32 and at the axial position of the spider pins 26, 28, 30 and 32.
