Zusammenfassung:	A clam-shell container 10 comprises a cover 12 hingedly connected to a tray 14, with both the cover and tray having cooperating structures 26, 56 that form a leak-proof seal when the clam-shell container 10 is closed. The container and cooperating structures are formed such that the user can effect the formation of the leak-proof seal in a single step. The creation of the leak-proof seal occurs on closing the cover 12 of the clam-shell container 1. One structure has a generally polygonal overall shape while the other is of overall generally trapezoidal form with a wider portion adjacent the hinge 16.
