| Zusammenfassung: | A cooking appliance has an electrically heated cooking surface 1 and a handle 3 configurable in a first configuration (Fig.1) for lifting and inverting the cooking surface 1 and a second configuration (Fig. 2) in which the handle 3 overlies the cooking surface. In the second configuration a receptacle 2, for holding liquid and for receiving the cooking surface 1, fits over the cooking surface 1 and is retained between the handle 3 and the cooking surface 1. The second configuration is compact and suitable for storage. Electrical power may be supplied via plug 6 and power cord 5 to the base (7) cordless connector (8) and pan cordless connector (9).
