Zusammenfassung:	A lubricant composition comprising a base oil comprising less than about 3% by weight of tetracycloparaffins is disclosed. The aim is reduced thin-film friction and improved fuel economy. A phosphorus-containing compound may also be present, e.g. amyl acid phosphate or zinc dialkyl thiophosphate. A dispersant may also be present, e.g. a succinimide, a borated succinimide, a Mannich dispersant, a functionalized olefin copolymer or a poly(meth)acrylate copolymer. A friction modifier may also be present.
