Zusammenfassung:A mounting stand for supporting a solar panel or other solar energy collection device 38 on a mounting surface 4, comprising a triangular space-frame made up of two struts 46, 48 and three parallel members 40,42,44, one of which has legs 52 forming stand-off means while the other two 42,44 form a mounting for the solar energy collection device. A tension device 60 is connected between the member 40 and the mounting surface 4, so as to hold the stand-off means 12 securely in contact with the surface 4.
