Zusammenfassung: | A power transmission system comprises a pair of inner magnets 2, 2 coupled to a driven side (B), the pair of inner magnets 2, 2 located between a pair of outer magnets 1, 1 which are coupled to a driving side (A), the inner magnets facing the outer magnets in a non-contact relationship such that rotation of the outer pair of magnets causes reciprocation of the inner pair of magnets, each magnet being of a bar-shape, and said outer pair of magnets being rotated about an axis which passes through their longitudinal centres. Each magnet 1b, 1b of each pair of bar magnets may be part of an assembly of three magnets 1a, 1b, 1c arranged in parallel, with the intermediate magnet 1b in staggered orientation. The magnets are preferably polarized in a direction orthogonal to their longitudinal. A core 3 may be provided separating the pair of inner magnets. An electric motor (A) ideally drives the outer magnets. |
