Zusammenfassung:An expandable tubular assembly 100 includes tubular members 102,108 coupled together via respective tubular coupling portions 104,106 forming a conventional mechanical, welded. brazed, threaded and/or an interference fit connection. The plastic yield point of the tubular members 102,108 may be less than that of the tubular couplings 104,106 so the amount of power and/or energy required for their radial expansion is less. Also, an expandable tubular member (3500, figure 35a) includes a first tubular region (3502) and a second tubular portion (3504) having different yield points, for example due to different material properties. The yield point of region 3502 may be less than region 3504. Alternatively, the yield point within first and second tubular regions (3502a,3502b, figure 35b) may vary as a function of the radial position within the expandable tubular member, either in a linear relationship or in a non-linear relationship in which it increases at different rates within the first and second tubular regions.
