A collapsible protection device for potted plants and seeds

A protection device for a potted plant comprises a covered collapsible frame with adjustable pot feet 4, wherein when the frame is erected a pot is encompassed within the frame and rests on the pot feet. The cover [9, Figures 9-11] is removable and secured to the frame by a drawstring [11, Figures 9-11]. The frame comprises a plurality of flexible ribs 3 which are connected at either ends by locking units in the form of a hub 1 and rotating disc 2. The ribs 3 are locked in the erected position by rotating the discs 2 so that the ribs are prevented from entering into slots 7 formed in the discs. To collapse the frame the discs 2 are rotated thereby allowing the ribs 3 to enter the slots 7. The ribs may be elongated to adjust the shape of the frame.
