Zusammenfassung:	A method for achieving a localised reduction in body volume comprises the application of tight sheet material, such as 'cling flim' to a body region, prior to covering the region with a heated or heatable element, such as an electrically heated belt, which is heated to approximately 40{C.The sheet and belt are maintained in position for a period of time. The temperature and time period may be selectable according to the individual. Optionally, skincare products may be applied to the region and/or sheet prior to the application of the sheet. The method is intended to result in at least a temporary reduction in local body volume.
