| Zusammenfassung: | A wheel rim protector 10 comprising a base portion 22, and a protection portion 24. The base portion 22 is integral with or fixable to a tyre 14 for a wheel of a vehicle and the protection portion 24 extends transversely from the base portion 22 in a direction for overhanging a portion of a wheel rim 16 of the wheel, during use, thereby to protect said rim 16 from damage. The protection portion 24 comprises an elongated flexible member. If the base portion 22 is fixed to the tyre 14, an adhesive may be applied using an applicator 40 and an installation tool 60 may be used to apply a uniform force to the wheel rim protector 10 to aid adhesion. The installation tool 60 may comprise an annular engagement portion 62 and a plurality of spokes 66. |
