Zusammenfassung: | A data access system 10 comprises a data store 14 for storing a plurality of content items (e.g. image data), a plurality of discrete interface devices (tags) 12, 17, each capable of wirelessly interfacing with a memory-tag reader 20, and a control arrangement 15 for controlling download of a selected content item from the data store to the memory-tag reader via one of the interface devices 17 (a "pseudo tag"). At least some of the interface devices 12 are arranged in a spatial distribution 11 with each device being associated with a corresponding one of the content items. Content item selection is effected by interfacing the memory-tag reader 20 with the corresponding interface device in the array 11. A content identifier for a read interface device can be downloaded to the memory-tag reader and then transmitted to the control arrangement 15 by the memory-tag reader, or transmitted via a wired or wireless link from the read interface device to the pseudo tag 17. Several forms of interface device 12, 17 are disclosed. |
