Trim panel assembly having a narrow transition radius and apparatus and method of manufacture

A trim panel 10 and an apparatus for making the trim panel comprises a first mould half having a first moulding surface with a projecting member 58, a second mould half having a second moulding surface, wherein the mould halves move between a first and a second position. When the mould halves are in the second position the first and second moulding surfaces define a mould cavity wherein the projecting member is supported by a supporting member, wherein said supporting member allows fluid to pass through. The trim panel may comprise a first portion 32, a second portion 34 with a transition portion 36 extending between the first and second portions which have curved portions having radii R of less than 5mm.
