Zusammenfassung:	A connecting member 22 for securing an interior trim assembly (10) to a support (20) of a vehicle comprises a connector body 24 formed of a first material, having a first end which couples to the trim assembly and a second end which couples to the support, and a sealing gasket 40 formed of a second material softer than the first material, which is integrally moulded with the connector body to form a tight seal between the connecting member and the support when the trim assembly is coupled thereto. The first material may be polypropylene, while the second material may be a thermoplastic elastomer. A method of forming the connecting member is also disclosed, in which the connecting member is formed in the first shot of a two-shot moulding process, and the sealing gasket is formed in the second shot.
