Zusammenfassung:	A method of making an interior trim panel for a vehicle door and the interior trim panel (12) are disclosed. The method comprises forming a bolster (16) that is spray coated with a polyurethane skin (28) in an open mold (22). The bolster (16) and polyurethane skin (28) are then placed in a mold tool (34,36) with a glass fiber mat (32) and foam polyurethane (42) is injected over the polyurethane skin (28) in portions (44) of the mold tool outboard of the bolster (16) to form glass-reinforced portions 46. The glass fiber mat (32) is trimmed in the area behind the bolster (16) and a foam pad (54) is formed in place, or assembled, behind the bolster (16) and retained in place by a cover panel (56). Fastener bosses 48 may be formed at the time of forming portions 46 by injection of a rigid polyurethane, to secure cover 56.
