Zusammenfassung:An outlet channel A of a marine water jet drive has pressurised air injected into the stream of water exiting said outlet channel. The air is injected from a number of air injection ports D3, mounted on and equally spaced around the circumference of said outlet channel. The air injection ports may be connected to a source of pressurised or compressed air by pressure air lines C1. Cowl plates 1A may be fitted to the jet drive outlets to protect them from damage.
