Zusammenfassung: | A sliding member has a sliding alloy layer (1), an intermediate layer (3) of Ni or a Ni alloy formed on the sliding alloy layer (1), and a soft layer (4) of Sn or a Sn alloy formed on the intermediate layer (3). A recess (2) is formed on the sliding side surface of the sliding alloy layer (1). The intermediate layer (3) is formed on the inner surface of the recess (2). The sliding member is subjected to a heat treatment, whereby there are formed intermetallic compounds (5) in the soft layer (4), which extend protrudently from the intermediate layer (3). The soft layer (4) may include Cu, Ag and Sb, and the recess preferably has a depth of 5-50žm. |
