Zusammenfassung:A method of expanding a tubing 10 uses a tool 16 that has two arrangements for the expansion. The tubing is lowered on a string 18 and positioned to overlap an existing casing 14. Rollers 24 are expanded to force the tubing against the casing 14. The rollers enable compensating adjustments to be made for any irregularities in the casing shape. The rollers are moved inwardly and the tool raised so that the rest of the overlapping portion of the tubing can be expanded to engage the casing. The rollers are moved inwardly and the tool is then forced along the length of the tubing so that a cone expander 22 expands the tubing. The cone expander is suitable at this stage as the tubing does not engage the bore 12.
