Zusammenfassung:	A performance analysis tool 200 which takes a set of performance records 202, each record including component condition data relating to a functional condition of at least one component of a system, as input, applies a filter, based on input criteria 212, to the set of performance records and produces a reliability curve based on the filtered data. The performance data preferably relates to performance of a drill bit. The reliability values produced can then be used to predict the effective life of a component.
