Zusammenfassung:	A composition comprises water, a first anionic polymer (namely xanthan) and a second anionic polymer selected from alginate, carboxymethyl cellulose, acrylate, carrageenan and pectin. The quantities are selected such that the composition increases its viscosity on addition of further quantities of water. The composition preferably comprises 0.2-5 % w/w of each anionic polymer and may fyrther include a salt such as potassium phosphate.
