Zusammenfassung: | A system comprises an optical, conventional printer device and digital printer in combination. The optical printer and the digital printer simultaneously cause exposure of a common area of photosensitive media 730. The digital printing part may comprise a light source 710, digital illumination assembly 711, polariser 712, spatial light modulator (SLM) 713, analyser 714 and relay lens 704. The other printer part may comprise illuminator 700, filter wheel 701, a film image to be printed 703 and lenses 702, 704. Digitally generated print images are combined with those from the optical printer by a recombiner 720, pass through a print lens 721 and are exposed on surface 730. Figure 8 shows an alternative embodiment using a single light source (800), divided using a beam splitter (801) and passed through the printer devices using mirrors (802, 803). The combined printer device may form part of a film scanning and printing device as shown in Figure 6, and may print colour images. |
