Zusammenfassung:A wet or dry floor cleaning apparatus comprises a base assembly 44 which carries a nozzle assembly 62 and a brush assembly 216. The brush assembly is removable from the base assembly for replacement/cleaning and the arrangement is characterised in that the attachment of the nozzle assembly prevents removal of the brush assembly. The nozzle assembly is attached by latches 110. Also claimed is a floor cleaning unit having a base assembly having said nozzle and brush assemblies attached thereto, the brush assembly having a plurality of rows of bristles 220 on a support bar 218, there also being a dispensing bar 224 attached to the support bar and having a row of fluid distribution openings 226, the said openings being between two rows of said bristles.
