Zusammenfassung:	An aircraft seat arrangement (100) includes a seat back (110), a seat bottom (140) and a guide (120) for guiding the seat back along a path, and includes energy attenuating apparatus (170 - see figure 1). The energy attenuating apparatus (170) comprises an attenuator (171) immobilised with respect to one of the seat back (110) or guide (120) and a bending mechanism (180) immobilised with respect to the other of the seat back (110) or guide (120) and defining a non linear path. Relative movement of the attenuator (171) and bending mechanism (180) in a lengthwise direction of the attenuator (171) produces bending of the attenuator (171).
