Zusammenfassung:A dispenser 2 for dispensing individual pre-formed bags (18 figure 4) from a stack of bags comprises a base 4, a body part 6, a stack support member 8 attached to the body part and a stack retention means 14 attached to the stack support member comprising a planar region 10 inclined upwards from back to front with respect to the base, and an arcuate lip 12 provided at the front of the planar region. In use the stack of bags are engaged by the stack retention means such that the handles of the bags are supported by the planar region of the stack support means, and a portion of the bags in the region of the mouth of the bags is disposed on the arcuate lip, with the body of the bag depending thereform, such that a first bag of the stack may be conveniently grasped by a user. The planar region may be inclined with respect to the base at an angle of between 10{to 80{ and the stack retention means maybe in the form of one or two hooks. The planar region may be supported by a single post structure 6 (FIG 5) or a pair of lateral walls 6a, 6b that may be inclined with respect to the base 4 from 90{ to 45{ as in FIGS 2-4. The dispenser may be made of sheet metal or rigid plastics, and it may have a front wall 16 to prevent the bags from being grasped at their lower portions.
