Zusammenfassung:	A digital broadcast reception apparatus capable of reducing events that a fee is paid in spite of that a charged program has not been watched due to bad weather, power failure, or the like. When a channel is matched with a pay per view (PPV) program, a part of the program can be watched at no charge during a preview period. When a user decides to purchase this program and performs a purchase operation, the digital broadcast reception apparatus (30) does not perform the purchase processing immediately but waits until an end portion of the preview period and performs the purchase processing on an IC card (21A) if the reception state is within an allowable range at this moment. On the other hand if the reception state is out of the allowable range, the purchase processing is not performed.
