Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus for retracting a hose, such as a flexible air supply hose 106, comprises a housing 104 and a motorised drive unit 114 which is operable to retract the hose into the housing. The drive unit comprises a belt 124 which may have grooves 125 which correspond to ribs 107 on the hose. This enables the belt to grip the hose and facilitate the retraction of the hose. The apparatus may further comprise rollers (122, Fig 2). The hose may be positioned around an inner tube 102. The hose may be used to supply air conditioned air to stationary aircraft.
