Zusammenfassung: | There is disclosed a methd of activating transesterfication reactions of mono- and bi-saccharides and hydrolysis reactions of triglycerides contained in natural chemical substances wherein the said substances are irradiated with microwaves while the reactions are taking place. The reactions can thus occur without any requirement for the addition of solvents. Ideally, the frequency of the microwave radiation used is approximately 2450MHz. |
