Zusammenfassung: | Air is supplied via ducts 3 to the cylinder banks 1,2 of an i.c. engine by a plurality of parallel turbochargers 5,6 having mechanical regulating devices 8,9, for controlling the angle of incidence of vanes directing engine exhaust gas onto turbine blades of the turbochargers, angle of incidence control units 10,11 also being provided. A charge pressure sensor 13 provides feedback to a charge pressure controller 12. A differential pressure sensor is provided for the detection of the difference between the charge pressures produced by two tubochargers, and information is emitted if the measures exceed a predetermined value. |
