Zusammenfassung: | The cylinder 1 of the engine, eg a low-speed, two-stroke, crosshead engine, is lubricated by means of a at least one lubrication unit 10 supplying oil to lubrication point(s) 11 on the cylinder. An electronic control unit 17 controls the lubrication units 10 on the basis of the varying cylinder pressures at the current operating mode of the engine. Each lubrication unit 10 is associated with a pressure sensor 14 arranged at diametrically opposed lubrication points. The pressure data may be saved and analyzed. A correcting member, fig. 10, comprises a housing 33 with a channel 32 between a connection 31 for the lubricating pipe 12 and a discharge opening 34. The channel 32 has a non-return valve 35. A pressure sensor 36, eg a strain gauge, is located in connection with the channel 32. |
