Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A gas valve with electromagnetic actuation, in particular a fuel-injection valve for gas engines, comprises at least one fuel inlet (4), at least one fuel outlet (24), a sealing member (7) actuable by way of an armature (12) of a controllable electromagnet (14) between the or each fuel inlet (4) and the or each fuel outlet (24) and at least one closure spring (8) acting upon the sealing member (7). In order to provide a gas valve which has - at the same time - a large throughflow cross-section, exact operating and response times which are as short as possible and a low power consumption and which is also suitable for use in multi-point or ported-gas admission systems and in supercharged engines, in particular in gas engines for commercial vehicles or stationary gas engines, at least one device (17) for compensating the differential pressure acting upon the sealing member (7) is connected to the sealing member. The differential pressure compensating device may be a compensating piston (17) having an area equal to that of the sealing member (7) and a compensating chamber (20) at fuel outlet pressure on the side of the piston (17) opposite to the outflow chamber (24).
