Single lens push-push dual lamp assembly for vehicle interiors

A lamp comprising first and second switches 24 mounted to a main housing (14, fig 1) and electrically connected to first and second light sources 40 and a single lens 12 positioned at least partially within the main housing with a first end in registry with the first switch and a second end in registry with the second switch for selectively actuating the switches. Preferably the lens has at least two spaced apart, upwardly inclined optical lenses 26, 28 connected by a generally flat central region 18 and more preferably further comprises a downwardly projecting push surface adjacent each optical lens, such that when the first push surface of the lens is pressed the first light switch is actuated, when the second push surface is pressed the second switch is actuated and pressing the central region actuates both switches simultaneously.
