Zusammenfassung:	A diode cover comprises two portions 110a, 110b movable relative to one another about an integral hinge 120a, 120b. Each portion includes a recess to accommodate a part of the diode 16. The cover 100 prevents electric sparks from jumping between the high voltage diode connecting leads 16a, 16b and other electrical/metal components contained inside a microwave oven. The cover is provided with a locking protrusion 130a, 130b and slots 132a, 132b to keep it closed. Ventilation holes 140a-c are provided to prevent the diode from overheating. The cover is preferably moulded from non-inflammable polypropylene.
