Zusammenfassung:	There are provided compounds of formula (I) wherein R is a hydrogen atom or an acetyl group, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salt, having antibacterial activity. The compound of formula (I) of the invention wherein R is hydrogen is prepared by fermentation of the micro-organism Streptomyces sp. identified in our data bank by the number 17040 and registered on 20.3.1996 with the DMSZ under the number 10611. The compound of formula (I) (R = -COCH3) is obtained by acetylation with acetic anhydride, in pyridine, of the compound (I) (R = H).
