Zusammenfassung:An outdoor base station is protected against environmental conditions. An environment monitor generates a power interrupt signal when a fatal environment of the base station is detected and a power supply device interrupts the supply of power to the outdoor base station in response to the power interrupt signal. Similarly, the environment monitor generates a power resume signal when a fatal environment is no longer detected and the power supply device resumes the supply of power in response to the power resume signal.
