Zusammenfassung:	An add-on connector device 20 comprises a body 21 having a first region 22 for securing relative to an end of a first rigid member and a second region 23 adapted to cooperate with another add-on connector device 20 to embrace a part of a second rigid member (see Figs 4 and 5). The first region 22 of the body 20 has a major axis 28 aligned relative to the length direction of an end portion of the first rigid member, and the second region 23 having an end zone which lies obliquely (at 30,45 or 60 degrees) relative to the major axis and provides a recess 24 which locates part of the second rigid member. Lug formations 25,26 hold the two connectors 20 together, and a boss with grub screw retains the first rigid member.
