Zusammenfassung: | A clamp 10 is fixed to the pipe 11, e.g. a riser, and has a saddle plate 24 which rests on the support 23, e.g. an oil platform leg. A sleeve part 10 of the clamp is connected by struts 25 to the saddle 24. Straps 21 extend from the clamp 10 around the support 23 to secure the clamp to the support with the saddle plate 24 resting on the support. The straps extend more than one full turn around the support 23, at least one and a half full turns, since this provides a good clamping effect for a given number of straps. Preferably, the saddle has a non-slip coating on the surface thereof which contacts the support, and the straps 21 extend over the saddle plate 24 to hold it to the support 23. Alternatively, clamp is fixed to the support, the straps extending around the pipeline. |
