Zusammenfassung:	The wrappers of degradable cigarette filters are sealed with a water sensitive hot melt adhesive containing 20-60% starch ester having 2-18 C atoms in the ester group and a degree of substitution of 0.3-2.5 (eg a starch propionate), 5-40% polar wax (eg based on a stearamide), 5-50% plasticising diluent (eg an ethoxylated phenol) and optionally up to 25% tackifier and up to 3% antioxidant.
