Zusammenfassung: | Within a hood (11), pressurized cold air is injected from a cold air injection pipe (13) to a spindle (5) and a cutting tool (6) for a machine tool in order to cool them and at the same time air is sucked and discharged from the inside of the hood through a discharge port (14a) provided on the hood by means of a vacuum pressure produced by a sucking device. When air is discharged, a swirl is generated in the hood by discharged air and by a deflected air stream passing through a plurality of guide blades (12) provided at the open end (11a) of the hood. The cutting chips are floated up by the swirl and discharged together with air through the discharge port (14a). |
