| Zusammenfassung: | An antenna 11 is arranged to receive low intensity radio signals over a wide range and in a low band, the antenna being designed to be installed on board a moving platform, and more particularly on a satellite. The antenna comprises a slot line 14 having an end section 13 with a flared profile to form, for example, a Vivaldi antenna. The slot line has an open circuit termination 15 which provides impedance matching so that a separate matching circuit is not required between the antenna and an associated low noise amplifier. A plurality of antennas may be disposed in an array to constitute an interferometer listening system for radio signals. |
