Zusammenfassung:	A plug connector for the inter-connection of audio loud speakers and amplifiers has a metallic shaft 12 suitable for inserting into a corresponding socket, the shaft 12 being mounted in or integral with, an elongate body portion 10. The body portion 10 has at least one aperture 42, 44, 46 formed therein such that at least one cable may be inserted into the aperture 42, 44, 46 so as to establish an electrical connection with the shaft 12 when body portion 10 is flooded with solder via a tunnel 40. Hollow body 10 can be replaced by an apertured bar. A two-part casing 16 and end cap 22 protect the connector.
