Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A dual-compartment cartridge, suitable for storing and dispensing a two-component reactive material which cures when the two different components are mixed, comprises an outer generally cylindrical casing (1) for storing one component and an inner generally coaxial chamber (4) for storing the other component, the inner chamber having a configuration such as to enable it to collapse in the direction of its longitudinal axis when subjected to pressure from one end thereof and having at its other end (6) a frangibly sealable outlet (7) which when unsealed communicates within the outer casing with a means (9, 12, 15) for mixing together the two components within the outer casing, the mixing means communicating with an outlet passage (2) formed at one end of the outer casing (1) and the other end of the outer casing having a disc-like plunger-movable closure means (3), so that when pressure is applied to the closure means, the inner chamber (4) is caused to collapse in an axial direction and thereby force the other component stored therein to flow into the mixing means (9, 12, 15) and be mixed therein with the one component and the resulting mixed material is caused to flow through the outlet passage (2) and be extruded from the outer casing (1).
