The buoyancy means comprises a plurality of short pile sleeves (32) attached in a cluster to the support leg (38) by shear plates (44) extending generally along the length of the pile sleeves, each sleeve (32) being connected to the leg by a pair of spaced shear plates (44). Upper and lower transverse plates (36, 38) seal off the ends of the spaced shear plates, creating airtight compartments. |
