Zusammenfassung:A casing 33 adapted for mounting on an engine has an air inlet 31 and a plurality of outlets 32. A plurality of air tubes 35 arc disposed within the casing so that air entering the air inlet flows through the air tubes and respective fluid outlets to the cylinders. A fuel injection assembly 39 is mounted within the casing to inject fuel into the air exiting the air tubes adjacent each of the fluid outlets providing a mixture of air and fuel to enter the respective cylinders. Connected to the fuel injection assembly is a carrier 42 upon which are mounted injection system components. The casing is mounted on distribution mountings 44 which are connected to the engine. The distribution mountings have passages 48 to allow communication between air and fuel contained within the casing and the cylinders, and passages to allow communication between supplemental fluid sources and the cylinders. Clips for connecting casing parts, electric cable conduits, seals for cable passage from the casing and between components of the apparatus are described. A valve to vent excess pressure from the casing and a thermistor to measure the temperature of air at the casing inlet arc also described. Details of materials for the various components are given.
