Zusammenfassung: | In a device for the vertical adjustment of the upper anchorage or deflection point of a safety belt system as a function of the longitudinal displacement movement of an associated motor vehicle seat, the longitudinal displacement movement of the latter being transmitted, with deflection, via a cable 9 guided in a sheath and coupled at the end to a guide rail 2 (the sheath), and to a slider 3 (the cable) vertically displaceable in the guide rail 2 between a lower and an upper stop. The slider has a belt guide attached thereto. The device is characterised in that once the slider has reached its upper limit, it is still possible to move the seat further back by actuation of a mechanism comprising a plulley 13 which becomes unlocked for rotation at the critical point, and allows movement of the cable 9 against the force of spring 22. The idea is to accommodate occupants who have to sit very far back. |
