Zusammenfassung:	Composite armour materials comprise a polymeric matrix containing continuous filaments. The polymeric matrix comprises the reaction product of a polymerisable composition comprised by (a) a polymerisable liquid first component selected from acrylic or methacrylic acids or esters, particularly methyl, thereof or styrene or mixtures thereof and (b) at least one copolymerisable second component containing at least two acrylate and/or methacrylate groups. Some of the filaments extend in a direction transverse to others of said filaments.
