Zusammenfassung:	Firing apparatus for well bore perforating apparatus includes a housing for containing a firing assembly including detonating equipment, a perforating gun, and connection apparatus for releasably fastening the gun to the firing system housing and including detonation coupling equipment to couple a detonation from the firing system to the gun. As shown a percussion firing sub 220 is connected between a bushing sub 14 and a grapple assembly 228, the grapple having hooked fingers 230 for engaging a stem cap 236 which is connected to a perforating gun. Detonation is transmitted via cord 24 and charges 227, 238 to cord 242. Following a well bore perforating operation, the firing system housing may be removed from the well bore, whilst the perforating apparatus remains anchored therein, by pulling to shear screws 232.
