Zusammenfassung: | A composite fibre for use in production of super-fine filament has at least six branches formed from the centre portion towards the peripheral portion in cross section of the composite fibre by using an easily soluble polymer P1 as a first component, and as second component, a fibre-forming polymer P2 alternately arranged among them, the peripheral portion in cross section being completely surrounded by the first component P1 connected to the branches. Super-fine filamant can then be made of only the fibre-forming polymer by dissolving the easily soluble polymer with sodium hydroxide or the like. The fibre may be of circular cross-section and in a preferred embodiment the fibre-forming polymer is polyamide or polyester and the easily soluble component is a polyester. |
